IPCC Press Conference to Present the Working Group I Summary for Policymakers, Stockholm

IPCC Working Group I is meeting in its 12th Session in Stockholm, Sweden, 23-26 September 2013, to approve the Summary for Policymakers and accept the full report of the Working Group I contribution to the IPCC’s Fifth Assessment Report, Climate Change 2013: the Physical Science Basis. A press conference to present the Working Group I Summary for Policymakers will be held following this meeting at the Münchenbryggeriet, Stockholm (The Brewery Conference Centre) starting at 10:00am. The event will be webcast.
The Summary for Policymakers, press release and other materials will be posted online at the start of the press conference. Working Group I Co-Chairs Qin Dahe and Thomas Stocker will present the Summary for Policymakers. Other speakers will include IPCC Chair Rajendra K. Pachauri, United Nations Environment Programme Executive Director Achim Steiner and World Meteorological Organization Secretary-General Michel Jarraud.
