A workshop for broadcast meteorologists and weather presenters around the world focusing on effectively communicating climate science. Thomas Stocker, Co-Chair of IPCC WGI, provided a presentation on the outcomes of the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) and how climate change science can inform weather reports. The workshop was organized by the World Meteorological Organization and Climate Central with support from the Government of Denmark and the United Nations Foundation.
